Did my second below freezing camping trip and it's nothing to be worried of. Previously I had people here telling me I was going to die because my sleeping bag is rated for like 15°C and temps were -3°C but it was fine as shit.
Try to not break a sweat, if you do change your base layer, wear a pair of dry, comfy socks before hunkering down. Drink some warm tea before going to the bed but have a piss bottle because it does suck leaving tent in 4am to take a leak.
Pitch your tent tight, have fun.

My question for people in this thread is how to deal with the frost on the inside in the morning. I get I could take things out, wipe it down/brush it off then kinda shake it out, but there were wet spots on my bag where it had fallen onto me in the night and melted. For a multi day trip how do i keep my bag and such from becoming wet and crappy?

If it was 0°F then the frost inside the tent wouldn't melt. As far as multi day stuff, air it out when you can with the fly off.

Isn't too cold desu senpai. Not trying to be macho or anything. If you have a half decent mat and either one sleeping bag rated for -4 or something you'll be fine. If you don't have a single bag rated to those temps then you can layer two warmer bags or add blankets. Good socks will help keep your feeties warm. Eat high fat before going to sleep and if the area you are camping in allows then have a bunch of snacks ready to munch on if you wake up chilly. In my pic is got down to ~-3 or 4. My quilt is rated to -1. Just wore my puffy to sleep and some extra socks. I also used a self inflating mat with a ccf mat.

Still very wet everywhere, so loose warm quick as fvck.
So do everything you do in windy cold rain.
Waterwindproof layers etc.

I camp in places that get down to 0c at night in the summer but sit around 20-25c during the day. It is uncomfortable as fuck in an inadequate sleeping bag but nothing to be really concerned about. Wear wool because it keeps you warm even when you get wet and the sleeping bag only really does it's job when you are wearing a minimal base layer (undershirt, briefs, and maybe socks).

it's -28c here before windchill, that's the kind of temperatures that people die if they are not prepared

All the advise above and also the same one thats been repeat over and over again.

Stay fucking dry.

Have extra pairs of socks with you, I usually like to keep my old ones outside with my boots so they air out and have a fresh clean pain inside my sleeping bag so I can comfortably put on a warm set first thing in the morning. Also, baby powder is your best friend to combat sweat.

My experience of piss bottles is that they are never big enough. Maybe I just piss loads. But there's nothing worse than watching the bottle fill up knowing you've got more to come... One of the many reasons I like single wall shelters. roll over, stick my dick out the tarp and let rip.
