I don't have a lot of storage/luggage capability on my current motorcycle, so if I'm spending two or three days somewhere I'll either truck it out there and base-camp from that (what i'll be doing in two weeks), or cash in hotel points and just carry a change of clothes along (next weekend).
Looking at two 200-mile days next weekend... carb parts arriving tuesday, hopefully some plastic parts in that same order, and I'd really like to get my chain/sprockets and fork seals/bushings/fluid in by thursday... gonna be busy.
I'd love to get a bigger adventure-capable bike with some luggage options for cameras/overnight/multi-day rides. Seen a few KTM 990 Adventure's up for sale for reasonable prices.
