Does anybody feels like the world has become bleak and ugly? Has Enlightenment thinking made everything "rational" and destroyed the beautiful, the mysterious and the unknown in our world?
There isn't much left to explore and discover, there is almost nothing unknown left for one to discover in the world. Even the arts are getting increasingly commercialized or made to pander to the masses or to SJW types.
It seems the only things left are consumming and forgetting oneself into video game and other forms of consumable media or, at best, living off the land or "riding the tiger", whatever that could mean.
