How about we have some actual discussion about that here instead of throwing the pipe thread off-topic? Smoking a joint with my friends on a peak in the Appalachians last spring was a great time. Personally I had almost never felt closer to nature. Post your bowls, discuss strains, talk about the best places to get high in nature. Remember, recreational use of marijuana is legal in Alaska, California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington as of now. Maine is currently considering legalization and Massachusetts is scheduled to legalize it in July. However, it is illegal to smoke pot in public in all of those states, usually defined as anywhere that isn't private property. Unfortunately this rules out a lot of good places for outings because a lot of such places are on federal or public land. Therefore, it is best to check your local laws carefully and maintain a respectful distance from other outdoorsmen while smoking. Also, this is not a thread for political discussions about the legality of marijuana, keep that discussion in /pol/.
