I live in a city neighborhood, but my house has a large backyard and a very large side-yard with lots of trees. What are some homesteading things I can do to further improve my home?

I already have a garden that provides most of my vegetables and herbs and am going to work on a greenhouse. I have plenty of space to use, so I'm open to ideas.
