the worst part is that you can't really do much
for my troop, it was the adults
you want parents to be involved, but not every dad needs to go on every campout and the dads shouldn't share a tent with their kids at any age
dads shouldn't cook or clean or really do anything for the kids
that had always been how we were treated, we got no help other than knowledge and that's the way we liked it
the last campout I went on, my patrol and the next younger one cooked nad had our own tents and all that
the youngest patrol all had their dads there and about 75% shared tents with them
the other few patrols had at least 50% of their dads there and they had significant help with their cooking
