Carboniferous, Cambrian, Cenozoic, etc. The area i live is all old seabed with a moderate layer of sediment and older iron rich layers that washes in on top. Boring stuff like primitive bivalves and some nautilus looking things were the coolest I found. One was not really fossilized, but it was a nautilus about 2 feet across. It was just clay basically so it fell apart , but you could see the way it's insides were arranged.
