What he won is not facing a lifetime in jail, and since there wasn’t really any other prize up for grabs this is indeed a win. Especially considering the charges were dismissed with prejudice.

I think Bundy is wrong on that point but I admire his choice to take whatever he can get from the system and give nothing back. He has been doing this shit for 20+ years and paid nothing, and seems unlikely to suffer any further for it.
