I'm a big guy. I like to have a big (50L+) daypack but don't want one that looks like I'm about to set off on a wilderness adventure.

Firstly, can anyone recommend a bag?

And secondly, why the fuck are Canadians paying 50% more than Americans for the same product?

Why are there American and Canadian prices on the backs of books, and why is a book made in Canada more expensive when sold in Canada vs. U.S.? We're always being fucked over consumer-wise, and we're too complacent about it.

It's not racist if it's true. Inner cities have the most gun crime, and the gun crimes are generally committed with firearms that were illegally obtained. I live the rural life in a flyover state; nearly every household has multiple guns, and yet nobody seems to point them at other hoomans (unless said hoomans are traipsing on land that's posted "no traipsing" or attempting to unlawfully enter someone's abode to do them harm or remove their possessions without permission). The only real exception round these parts would be tweekers, but they lost their humanity to methamphetamines so they don't really count anyway.

Get an Osprey Aether 70 for hiking(3-5 days) or a Xenith 105 for a bugout bag.

Anything else is for roleplaying. There's a reason nearly all thru hikers on the CDT use Osprey & literally none(zero) use that roleplay garbage.

A 50L pack is actually ideal for 3-5 days. Anything under 3 days & you only need 30L. You only need 1-1.5lbs of food per day & that's if yoou're covering 20 miles a day. You don't know what you're talking about.

Yes, it has a removable hip belt, so the Redwing 50 converts to normal backpack look, also has a handle so you can carry it like a duffel.

Just buy it in basic black.

The Rush 72 is actually quite good for a big day pack especially for bigger guys. Just be mindful that it has no frame at all other than a sheet of rigid plastic and only a single aluminum stay, and the hip belt is thin, so it's not going to work all that well with heavy loads. I use mine only for bulkier but lighter loads. It's also quite short, so depending on the length of your torso the hip belt may not even work at all. At least you can stow the hip belt into niches behind the back panel.

I got issued that bag when I was in the army, I can recommend it as I've taken it all over the world. Though, I'm probably going to get a cover for aesthetic reasons, it sucks being "that guy"
