>>1191282Well, bud, I can tell you that hanging yourself with nylon rope is a bad idea. It stretches. If you don't have a long drop and a lot of math on your side, it can end up just being painful and frustrating. I also broke a belt buckle trying to use a belt once. If you're smaller than I am, you might have a lot easier time with that one.
Another thing that doesn't really work is birdshot. I had rigged up a device based on something I read about shotgun shell booby traps in the Vietnam War. Basically, I figured I didn't need to stick the whole gun in my mouth. Well, you do need the whole gun, I guess. Also, bird shot is too small to really do a good job.
Anyway, suicide isn't really right for everybody. In fact, I'd say it's probably wrong for most people. A lot of people can feel a lot better when things start going their way again, or they get help, or whatever. Don't be afraid to use drugs, either. Some people feel better with antidepressants. Some people really feel a lot better with antidepressants. Some people do well after some ketamine, and there are even real psychiatrists who can help with that. Most of the drugs that will really make you feel good about life are completely illegal, which is horseshit. If everyone is going to bitch and moan about how you can't decide that your own fucking life isn't worth living, it's utter goddamn hypocrisy to also ban the only things that actually make some people feel that it's worth it to keep living.
Anyway, I firmly support anyone's right to decide about their own life. All the people who are so afraid of death, or are pussies or whatever about others dying because they need someone to go on suffering for another 60 goddamn years to feel better about their own selves can go to hell. Do whatever you know is right.
But, before you do anything, you'd better be really fucking sure it IS the right thing. Sometimes, even if you fuck up and don't die, you still have permanent consequences.
