I live in Wyoming. The Wind River Mountains are full of squatch's. They mostly seem to eat the sheep in the area. Anyway they are real. There just aren't many people around to see them these days. Most of the Shepherds are foreigners on work visas. Most of the locals are meth addicts and drunks. But if you head out from the Wind River Res into the bush you'll probably see them. They tend to travel in families. They will be near water. Go up around the Ice Lakes. Head northeast from there to an unnamed lake. Head downstream about three hundred yards and there is a cave. There was a squatch home there a couple years ago.

Here's the thing, though, how can you be sure it wasn't a person? I got into hoaxing when I realized that I was literally being mistaken for sasquach. I was doing all kinds of hippy crap, like barefoot hiking and whatever in an area that had a decent number of tourists. All of a sudden, Oscoda County lead Michigan in bigfoot sightings. A lot of the reports of places and times that things were found fit with stuff I was doing. People were finding my footprints and stuff and were thinking it was bigfoot.

I'm here to explain how hoaxes and stuff happen. I guess it's possible that somewhere, there's a large, unknown primate, but most of the stuff people say about seeing something that could "only be bigfoot" could easily be something else.

I tried explaining all of this a long time ago on /x/, but apparently hoaxes are regarded as blasphemy and heresy on their board, so that thread just turned into "HOW DARE YOU!?!?! REEEEEE!!!!"

Anyway, if your story really can't be a hoax, I'd be curious to hear it.

Otherwise they would have to dedicate their entire life avoiding people. I saw some markings on the ground that could have been mistaken for two big foot prints but it was probably just a place where hogs were tearing shit up that got a little mist on it and resembled two foot prints. People will see what they want but we haven't documented them and there isn't a ton of convincing evidence that they are alive today. we don't find large mammals that are new species on land very often
