2) Where long, light colored clothes with a light colored cap. Light clothes makes them easier to spot. Tuck your pant legs into your socks and your shirt into your pants. This way the tick can't get under your clothes.
3) Carry tweezers or a Tick Twister tool in case they do latch on. If you remove them before they fully engorge (before they feed for like 24 hrs) you should be safe.
4)Treat your clothes and backpacks with DEET and permithrin.
5) Every once in while check yourself or friends /doggo for ticks; after /out/ adventures immediately take a shower and wash your clothes, hair, and backpacks.
6) If you are bit, visit your doctor. Don't worry too much about them and try to enjoy the great outdoors, anons!
