What are /out/'s recommended tents for weekend camping / festivals?

Currently out to buy my first personal owned one, I've always gone in with a few people for a larger tent, and now I'm looking at a 3/4 man one for my self that's not going to break my bank, and I'm not terrible well informed about what makes a good tent

Wont be my first festival, I know the deal on where to and not to camp, wont be on my own as well, so unless someone wants to come in to the middle of the field to the middle of our group camp site and piss on my tent then I'll be fine, If something does happen to it then well my fault, I'm only going for a tent like this because it's absolutely miserable camping for 5 days in a shit tent if the weather is bad, which in most cases it always is.

so anyone have any opinions on this tent or maybe another?

I'm excited for it because it sleeps five (I also like that it specified "adults," instead of just saying "5 persons"), almost tall enough for me to stand completely upright in and barely costs over $130. I am just worried because of the whole "too good to be true" shit. There has to be a tradeoff somewhere.

2nd one because "muh headroom" but I fear it would be too big (spaces at festivals are in high demand) and too heavy to carry around, but it's pretty much the same price for a bigger tent, but then i know nothing of the makes and reviews online don't really help.

I'd play it safe and get the Coleman, as it is much smaller and has your porch. Since you are just needing it for weekend camps and festivals, you most likely wont be spending much time in your tent, so headroom doesn't matter much.
Then again, I repeat... I really don't know anything about tents and what makes them good. I'm just offering my opinion given the two options and your situation

True enough, but I repeat my original claim that you will most likely be out enjoying the festival more than you will be dicking off in the tent. If it was simply a weekend thing, I think that tunnel tent is the way to go.
Only if you were out there for extended periods of time (like, 3+ days) would I suggest a taller tent.

And yet you're planning on buying a tent that has no fly (enjoying getting wet) and a useless "front porch", that
only adds weight to the tent and looks like it'll turn into a pool in the rain.

An important thing to look for in a tent is separation between the inner and the fly. If these 2 layers touch each other, the condensation will drip through the inner and if you touch the sides of your tent you will get wet (bad for the ends of sleeping bags). If there is good separation between the inner and fly, the condensation will stay on the outer, and you will have a nice dry night.
other things to consider - weight. are you going hiking or car camping? how much are you willing to carry?
make sure it is suited to what you will use it for - don't buy some cheap ass tent with a shitty waterhead if you are going camping in rainy / wet areas.
Try to get one with a footprint - it will give you an extra layer of separation from the ground (reduces condensation around you) and will reduce the wear and tear on the base of your tent.
