Opinel: great folder, thin, very good at slicing and food prep
Mora: not folder, more robust, very good at woodworking
IMO a combo of a Mora AND an Opinel (or a swiss army knife) is an unstoppable combination
but if you are strapped for cash i would buy a Mora first, really depends on what kinda /out/ activities you do, if your a hiker then Opinel is likely all you need, if you like getting a bit more """bushcraft-y""" then a Mora is a must!
