Pretending that unknown water sources present ~zero health risks~ and are no different then consuming bottles of store bought water is foolish at best and deadly at worst.

Because there's a chance that there might be harmful stuff in the ground that when you buy a well, you should always have it tested first. And then, once per year have it tested again.
