Idk exactly which board to post this on so sorry if no one really knows, but what are the best places to buy land in the US? I wanna save up to buy some land in the middle of nowhere (preferably in the contiguous US and in a forested area) to build a cabin and stuff. Just somewhere to go a few times a year to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life (maybe someday invite the grandkids there and live there part of retirement), possibly to hunting/fishing, and have a place to go innawoods in case I become Ted Kaczynski or some crazy shit goes down. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?
