Sup fellas! For my birthday, I got a Diawa BG2500 reel and a Bass Pro gift card to choose a rod. The primary use for this combo will be bass and panfish. Is the Ugly Stik GX2 a good rod? Not really sure what's out there, as I've just been using shitty pre-packaged combos up to this point...

As my skills progress, hopefully I'll be able to pick my next combo with asking such newb questions :)
