Currently I browse steepandcheap, gear scan, the rei garage sales plus watching for jewpons and stacking deals. I'm not a real gearfag but I'm always on the look out for deals. Basically who else /jew/ for gear?

dirtbag deals on mountain project used to be god tier-you put in what you want and it pulled all the deals, tracked price against average, and you could have it alert you to deals. but rei shut it down as soon as they bought mountain project. google shopping does a pretty good job, now, though

I know Dick’s isn’t all top of the line stuff, but they have lots of good deals on mid range stuff. If you sign up for their Score Card, they will send you emails about Flash Sales almost every Thursday and I have seen a lot of Kelty and Eureka tents and decent looking bags for >50% off.

I just have a list of gear I periodically search for to see if theres any sales.

I'm happy with 90% of my gear / clothing, so at this point I'm only buying exactly what I want/need and not something that sort of works because its cheap/on sale

Half my gear is from there 50-60% off. Gotta watch it every day though because inventory is hella limited in certain sized and goes quick for some of the good things.

If other Canadians have good sites, lemme know. Planning on hitting up the MEC gear swaps to check them out as well.
