>>1203498I bring a plastic flask with a pint of vodka in it, and those little individual packets of lemonade/juice mix. I find it's a nice, sweeter drink which I enjoy after a long day of hiking and eating a more savory/salty diet most of the day. The packets also double to make gross tasting water more palatable or just change it up a bit. The plastic pint of vodka and juice packets are a big weight saver vs a growler/couple of beers. I can get significantly more drunk or I can share with more people. A nip off a flask around a fire on a cool evening is a top 10 feeling all time.
My wife brings the small boxes of wine. I think each box is 2-3 glasses. They are very small boxes, but she digs it.
I'd like to bring beer, but the weight/volume of what i'd like to bring is tough to manage. But fuck, a brew at the end of a long day would be pretty choice.
