Best place to go in central California?

I post last week about not being able to go out.
But I am able to go this weekend, I consider Yosemite falls and a light day hike. But I must awake early for that, is long way.
I have made map but if you know anything better please suggest.

I know it's way farther north but check out the area around Burney Falls in Shasta county sometime very secluded and beautiful

Yosemite is great and not too crowded this time of year. I recommend the upper Tenaya lakes. Bring a windbreaker.

i went there for the first time a couple weeks ago. i got bit by a fucking tick and still have a scab. but it was still bretty gud overall. my wife near shit herself when she saw how big the bullfrogs were. gave me a good laugh.

that's where we saw them, maybe 1:30 in the afternoon? they were on the bank in the reeds. startled very easily. they were so big when we first heard one jump into the water i though it was a deer. we saw a half dozen, heard another two dozen, at least.

lol, yep, that was them. you have to be pretty stealthy to get a good look, because as soon as they see movement or a shadow they jump, and they're basically the same color as the mud the sit on.
