Hey /out/ - I have EDS (Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome), badly enough that I’m currently applying for disability. I can get around, but it’s often limited or risky due to being unpredictable. My joints spontaneously subluxate and/or dislocate, among a shit ton of other problems. It’s a complicated and -very- frustrating condition to have, and its definitely something that doesn’t have enough research or support in the medical community. Anyway! To the point.
I was wondering if anyone here had any advice or suggestions about how to manage something like this, or at least come to a good compromise between what I want and what I can reasonably do? (Discussion about handling any other disabilities or physical challenges while /out/ is great too - what are your experiences?)
