I do laundry in buckets. most of the time I use moms washing machine but I still use a bucket sometimes.
I don't use any fancy plunger thing
put in clothes water and soap. stir it with your hands a little. wait maybe half an hour for clothes to soak. just squish all the clothes against the bottom of the bucket. do that a lot and then let them soak another few minutes
now its time to rinse. its best to have a second bucket. put your clothes in and fill with water. squish the clothes against the bottom of the bucket. let them soak a few minutes.
I like to rinse twice
