so I've left the west coast where shit is chill. I know you can't walk around and smoke a joint and drink a beer in the park outside of California but I'm starting to get really paranoid about the cops.
people telling me shit like "buckle up the cops look for people with no seatbelts" "the no sagging pants law is enforced jn this town"

do I need to be hypervigililent to be law abiding down here in the south? im a brown skinned hippy, are cops like dying to get me in trouble? let me know what y'all think

I've always been respectful (and a nervous look on my face) when dealing with cops. will that not work out over here?
