I want to move to Maine to be out away from all the noise and problems of the city. I intend to spend a lot of time in New Hampshire and Vermont too. An anon told me to move to The County if I really want to be /out/ and to not come unless I learned the culture. So I've been working on that. I've also been lurking the Northeast meetup thread and reading stuff on there.

Anyone have any advice? How are winters up there? Nothing I love more than and snowy forest with overcast sky, long dark nights and rain all day. Will I enjoy Northern Maine?
