>>1216078Well to the scale of France the Alps are pretty far from Paris but truth is you can live in Paris and drive all the way to the Alps within the day, or do the same with a train
So not very hard if you have enough money to afford a car/train, both roads and railroads are efficient.
You'll need enough time obviously because it's still a 600 km trip so not fit for just a week-end
You have closer mountain ranges other than the Alps though, like the Vosges or the Jura. Maybe not comparable to the Alps (although the Jura is a great outdoor place) but still worth visiting for a breath of fresh air
