Spider are solitary creatures, who, as most others in nature, won't bug you unless you bug them. Most bites come from accidentally a spider when you don't know it's there, like in boots that are left unattended for long time, so you press your foot against them, and of course they consider it a thread and bite.
However, spiders are incredibly useful to have around the house because they catch flies and mosquitos, who are more of a nuisance and pest than spiders. I remove them only when I have to, otherwise, I leave them to chill in their webs.
Only spoder I've ever encountered in nature is Golden Orb-Weaver and occasional Black Widow. I live in Eastern Europe. The rest are impossible to detect. Unless you're camping in Amazon and Pacific Islands where there are elephant sized clapdoor spiders, funnel webs, you have nothing to worry about.
