Phoenix area superstitions are the way to go. Siphon draw trail up to flatiron if you want a Slayer of a hike or Weaver's needle loop for longer more gradual more secluded. Browns peak is a good edge of Phoenix area hike too beat the heat in the summer but you'll need a 4x4 to make the trail head. Done a couple up in flag, Sedona, GC, and Tuscon too but really only know PHX area well.
