Is this picture accurate? I live in Arkansas (Climate zone 3, according to the picture in my next post) and am wondering if I can plant according to this pic and if there is anything else I need to know.

It's been raining on and off for like a fucking week; four days on, two off, with another two on. I just moved down here last year and couldn't plant because of the move and I wanted to know if anyone else lives in this climate zone and has to deal with the rain and shit.

I guess my question is; for someone who has never started a garden or a plot or anything of the sort, is there anything you wish you knew before starting your grows for the first time?
