>>1216720I am already nearly self-sufficient in regards to food and have an easily defensible home with large garden and a well, so not much on those fronts. other than that:
1. get as much canned food as i can (including dog and cat food) while the normies are busy looting for tvs and computers. possibly loot the local hunting store for ammo and spare guns. Already have a good store of emergency food and comrades with guns and ammo, but extra never hurts.
2. set up my long range cb (don't have it set up atm as non-mobile cb is virtually illegal where I live - in theory, i could get a license, but it's far to expensive) and establish contact with comrades around (about a dozen of us have a fixed channel and time).
3. make sure the whole family (~ 20 people + children) and any comrades (2-8 people, depending on situation) joining us have weapons and enough ammo.
4. set up an outhouse (again, i don't have one atm due to local laws).
5. wait and see if anbody is stupid enough to come for my crops and animals. considering that I have friends and relatives in the local militia and the police, I doubt that there's going to be any major combat - and some random looters we should be able to repel. So I'll just sit back, grow my crops, raise chickens and rabbits and enjoy not having to work every day.
As for how the world (or more precisely, europe, since that's were I'm based) will end, my guess is either the muslim migrants or the government wil sperg out and cause civil war.
other than that, the only possible SHTF would be a highly contagious illness, in which case I'd leave out 1. but otherwise follow the same plan.
Natural disasters are highly unlikely around here, so I don't have any elaborate plans for those.
