>>1216930When I was /out/fitting I mostly sold Scarpa Charmoz and La Sportiva Trango for beginner climbing. They'll take a hybrid crampon but aren't so stiff and heavy on the approach.
Honestly the big thing is not to buy without trying them on first. Go to a proper shop, get measured and try as many different models as you can. Bonus points if you can find a shop that will do custom punch & stretch fitting.
Poorly fitting climbing boots will make your life hell.
