Mountaineering! I used my merrel moabs in an alpinismo course in spain not too long ago, terrible idea but i want to keep doing it what boots should i look at?

When I was /out/fitting I mostly sold Scarpa Charmoz and La Sportiva Trango for beginner climbing. They'll take a hybrid crampon but aren't so stiff and heavy on the approach.
Honestly the big thing is not to buy without trying them on first. Go to a proper shop, get measured and try as many different models as you can. Bonus points if you can find a shop that will do custom punch & stretch fitting.
Poorly fitting climbing boots will make your life hell.

I use Alpina Eiger Man with Camp Stalker crampons for mountaineering up to 60 degree inclination. They are cheap (around 150$ now), sturdy, warm, highly waterproof and comfy. Only con is their weight, they are a bit heavier than most other mountaineering boots and not really made for serious, steep climbing. But since most of my climbs so far are under 60 defree, I mostly use them.

And Mammut Guide High GTX for steeper ascends, mixed climbing and climbing ice. I use them with Petzl Lynx crampons. They are much lighter than Alpinas and provide more calf support, which comes practical for steep climbs, although they aren't as comfy for long walks and approaches.

What you should look at however, all of them will be good, your best bet is to go to a shop and try several models on and see which one suits you best and what you plan to do with them .

If you aren't an estronaut my suggestion is Montrail Mountain Masochist II Outdry w/ microspikes, can climb any mountain up to ~7000m and you can still run a respectable 4:45 mile in them

I use a cheap pair of Scarpa B0s and exmilitary Salewa cramps. £120 total, and actually fine for most mountain walking. It’s only when you get onto steeper slopes/gullies etc. that you start to feel the lack of rigidity/support.

Just rented some sportiva nepal's for ice climbing this week and they seemed great. Didn't get into super cold temps but they seemed quite warm.
