I'm a geologist by training, but I've been working as a GIS tech for quite a while now. Unless you know someone in oil and gas, the markets real hard to break into right now. They're letting the old men work until they die.

oh that's a shame, I have some /out/ climber friends in school for it, i hope they get good jobs.

op you could work for outward bound if you have enough experience for a while but you wont get paid shit, also if you're more conservative you might not like it because i don't think they draw that kind of crowd.

Meh, anymore, I'm not sure what to classify myself as politically. I've found too many things from both parties I disagree with, but enough things from either party I'd be called a traitor by both. Problem is I'm far enough along in my life I just can't take anything but full-time work. Too old for mommy and daddy to pay my bills for me, etc.
