/out/ (the outdoors is my life) i have an extensively documented history of an indian tribe dumping raw sewage into designated critical habitat for several species on the ESA. Is there any recourse for this? I wish there was a way to make them fix it/make them pay.............

Report this to your local law 'forcement, provide your witness statement and evidence, allow them to investigate and 'force the law.

If they do nothing because of either corruption or to avoid the scandal then report both of them to the local media, provide your witness statement and evidence, allow them to investigate and crack the case wide open.

the habitat is federally listed, in the federal register, as designated critical habitat for two species on the endangered species act.

e.coli is >4x the allowable EPA levels.

most water treatment plants dilute into the water and it's monitored to make sure the ammonia-nitrogen, phosphates, solids, and other nutrients are within acceptable limits. it's probably fine mang.

It has really disheartened me, my supervisor is so amazing, but, she can't afford to lose her job. I don't give a shit and I would gladly work at a grocery store or some construction shit. A very fragile ecosystem is being fucked with and it is very concerning to me.

If you're bright enough to gather this info then you also understand how the system works.

they have a permit, their permit requires certain parameters on the effluent. This permit is public record somewhere. You can find out if they're violating their permit.

from there it's just a simple complaint to the regulatory agency.

in the end it's probably not going to matter, because they're allowed a certain number of violations, and even if they exceed that they're just going to be fined rather than shut down. Because the alternative (no treatment plant) isn't workable.
