What does /out/ say about sleeping on hard ground? Are there tricks to sleeping on rock plateau surfaces and the like which allow you to spend a fine night?

Yea, take a big bag of goon up to the rocks, drink the whole bag, blow air into the sack for a pillow and then you can sleep anywhere.

Put a piece of plywood on your bed. Sleep on that from now on with your camp bed roll. This is literally what I do now and my back has thanked me ever since. I can sleep anywhere now, except in a soft bed, so there's that downside I guess.
