as far as serrations go, a lot of people hate them and I get it but I like em. They make some things easier to cut and take away very little if you keep them sharp. get a set of jewelers files and some 3200 grit emery and you can polish those fuckers scalpel sharp (with carbon steel at least but maybe not with stainless) .
