Who would be interested in having some meet ups in the Adirondacks (ADK)?
We could do some hiking in the High Peaks, getting some of you started on doing your 46.
Lots of other places to check out in the ADK too (Northville Placid Trail is one option).
I am a member of the ADK Mountain Club so we have the option of renting a cabin or lean-to at the ADK Loj. I am also going to be wilderness first-aid certified over the summer so if something happens in the backcountry I will be able to help. Hopefully other people will have some experience at that too, if not that is OK. I want to use these meet ups as way to get some people involved /out/doors and as way to maybe introduce some to the ADK.
