Obv a good high proof smoky islay whisky and some tea/coffee (recommend swedish 'kokkaffe' aka just pour coarse grind coffee in a pan and let it settle before pouring unfiltered). Then I usually make a load of tea from various herbs and berries I find in the woods. Carrying too much liquid is a big nono otherwise.

I might take a cold beer (750ml) on a day hike to have with lunch if it's hot.

I also like hiking in the winter/cold, then I will take a thermos with coffee, sometimes with some whiskey in it. That's always fun. I always fuck up the proportions though.

Mind giving me the source for that? I'm just a bit curious.
I've heard it a couple times, and the only thing I could come up with is preventing Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) but nothing else really. (Maybe the additional calories 7cal/gram )
It has been proven that red wine is good for you, but with that they don't mean the alcohol. But that's not all true either, while listed as one of the more healthier alcoholic beverages, it still has its pros and cons.
Since red wine is high in resveratrol, which have a good list of health benefits, but at the same time the alcohol levels and bacterial culture used to brew it can have opposing health risks.

Biggest factor in staying healthy is not smoking, staying mobile and doing X amount of exercise (I would have to look it up, but it wasn't much), and staying social and having friends.

Truth is that, more is more. There are diminishing returns after a certain point, but it's pretty much always beneficial to do more exercise.

It is cheap no question about that. I just think it tastes good, it’s easy to use, right size, Packs light and has never let me down. I’m sure there are other better brands but Someone gave me a cup of this on a camping trip, I enjoyed it so I bought it. If you have one you like that packs light, comes in the little strip packets, and tastes good I’ll try it on my next trip.

Depends on what I'm up to.

If I'm angling in the summer I may take a beer or cider along to drink when the sun gets hot.

Same as if I;m tramping through the barrens, marsh or woods in the fall, after game birds. A beer or cider makes for a nice refreshing drink at a rest.

I'f I'm out sitting in a duck blind or ice fishing, rum or some sort of whiskey.

On a long hike or camping trip, probably a bit of whiskey.
