>>1237813Tbh, I don't wear pants with super high rise unless I'm at work.
I do have the Fjallraven Keb Gaiter Trousers I use, but I got them 50% off this winter so I only have experience hiking ~25km in one stint, no overnighters. They are higher waisted in the back and a bit higher at the front. Similar material, but incorporate polyester and the G1000 stuff over high wear areas, so overall not as breathable fabric wise. I do really like the venting on the thighs though.
So far, hiking about 250km total in them in the winter, they are nice and have some cool features, but quite pricey. Some would also say they are meme pants, but whatever.
Cons: PRICE, bottom of leg hem adjustment with the drawcord is a bit awkward compared to the 'normal' keb trouser model, no back pockets, ~7oz heavier, must use dedicated belt (the prana zions have integrated and belt loops for both options), warmer
Pros: ventilation, lots of belt loops, boot hook and eyelets for paracord to strap under shoe for snow/heavy brush, high back a bit more comfortable under a hip belt, can be used as simple gaiters when zipped off but I haven't really tested this feature.
Otherwise, I'd suggest going into a store to try on some stuff.
