If the handle is hollow out like in said pic, then usually they are POS knifes OP. It would much better to get a good quality blade, then attach like an altoids survival tin to it. One of the most important survival tools besides your brain, is your knife. It can help with fire, shelter, making other tools for hunting etc. The last thing you need is your knife snapping, due to it being a cheapo made knife like in the pic. I have tried many dif types of these survival knives, from price ranging from 10 bucks, all the way up to 150, each one has not lived up to my expectations.
So go with a knife like

That is a list of very good and some what inexpensive fixed blades. I've gotten to compare these knives, with knives like busse, which are high end blades, but cost a lil to much.
