Clinical depression or just "bummed out" feeling?

As for feeling down, dealing with lots of stress etc. from my personal experience nothing is better. But if you're dealing with clinical depression I'd say it's good for you, though it's not a thing that would cure you

if this is a real mental health issue... not really.
but if its just generally fuzziness and being a little bummed a good two days in the woods helps me get back even keel. the problem is you kind of start needing it. im at the point where if i go too long without being in /out/ conditions i get the blues.

Best thing imaginable.
Years ago I got out of a bad yearlong relationship, felt absolutely miserable. We had planned an /out/ing but had broken up beforehand. So I went by myself, and it was fantastic, by the end of it I had forgotten that I was even sad to begin with

I usually feel better in the moment because I'm focused on tasks, like setting up camp, cooking, cleaning, etc. Once I'm done or back to civilization it comes roaring back.
