you did fine for car camping. yosemite in the summer is hot and dry, so don't worry about seam sealing.

fall is also dry. but spring can be 40° and raining one day and 78° and clear the next. but i'd wait to seal it until i was going in the wet season.

Tent is good I guess although you might get a bit cramped in there with your backpacks & stuff. Don't bother with seam sealing for now, you can do it later if you decide you like camping and will want to keep it.

For my personal taste I would pick different sleeping bag, the rectangle ones are bulkier and don't isolate body heat that well like mummy types. But for summer camping it's okay, so on this budget you'll be fine anon
