I don't know if it burns readily enough. I remember my friends and I lit some 100 proof Smirnoff and it barely held a flame.

Vodka doesn't do it, you need everclear. Everclear mixes great with gookinade or iced hibiscus tea.

The Everclear in your pic is almost 200 proof, so you could use it a stove fuel or mixed into a cocktail (you can't really drink it straight unless you are some kind of he-man) but it is expensive as fuel. My preference is to use denatured ethanol from the hardware store for fuel and a decent grade of distilled spirits for drink.

Commercially available vodka won't cut it simply because its barely alcohol with most being around 30-40%. I guess you could distill it somehow but at that point why bother?

70% Rubbing alcohol is hard enough to light, its not going to be better at a lower percentage. Everclear definitely works as its 95% but doesn't make a whole lot of sense in terms of cost (unless you want to drink it too). Just stick to denatured.

You can distill it very easily by dissolving salt in it. Makes the alcohol insoluble in the water and it separates, then siphon off the top layer which is almost entirely alcohol.
