>>1249776>tl;dr anybody know of a good knife for self defense and with the capabilities of a multitool? So I love to go fishing, right? But the town in Florida I live in is so dense most people just use golf carts to get around (so do I). A couple weeks ago I was coming back from a fishing trip late at night when some crackhead hobo fuck started talking to me. I thought he might have wanted some water or something so I stopped because I had some left over from my trip. But then he starts saying that he wants a ride on my golf cart, I say "no", but he keeps walking towards me and starts getting on the back. Keep in mind, only weapon I have is a shitty, rusty knife in my tackle box so it would take me probably ten full seconds to deploy it. I end up gassing it when he is like halfway on and I drag him for a good 10 ft before he lets go. This really shook me up and since then I have been looking online and in my local surplus store for a kinfe. I'm not 21 yet so I can't buy a gun, and I have been thinking about purchasing a multitool anyways, so why not combine the two? So do any anons know what to get? I'm looking mostly for a multitool with a knife that I can easily get to without having to fold out the entire thing and deploy the knife. But I also need something with a fish scaler, scissors for cutting line (It makes it a lot easier so inb4 anon saying I can just use a knife to cut line), a bottle opener, pliers, and preferably a barometer, thermometer, hydrometer, compass, and flashlight, though these are all afterthoughts. Whats most important is the knife aspect and the ability to get to it quickly. Maybe some sort of balisong with all of these on the handles? Thanks.
