There will be more animals, but every creature will have a higher incidence of diseases and cancers. The average mortality will be reduced by 20 years, and crop failure will cause mass starvation, violence, and cannibalism.
It would be fun, but dying of radiation sickness is on par with having the worst flu imaginable and shitting non-stop while vomiting bile and blood.
