First of all the sling bow actually falls into the category of a ranged un machined weapon (like an actual bow) And as far as having a slingbow for your BOB it's an awesome idea. Otherwise brb im just loading my entire .22 into by bob backpack.
(think of the difference in size, ammunition effectiveness, and noise)
With the slingbow you could kill an adversary in the event of some sort of disaster, or game. Or in the event of using the BOB for something like quick camping. Squirrels for dinner all day.
