Overlanding is self contained unsupported vehicles traveling thousands of miles over the course of months. Usually a continent .
Its just starting to catch on with americans.
Very different sport. Mostly German . Many of the rigs look like pic related .
It can be done in jeeps for sure , but not without tons of visible gear.
