>>1257990It is highly ambiguous. The "base" level might be hundreds or even over a thousand meters different depending just on which side of the mountain you're looking at. That said, it's not really debatable that Denali is "taller" than Everest and most/all other 8000ers, but acclimatization is much less of an issue on Denali just because 6000m is tough, but nowhere near the threat that 8000+ is.
