>>1261403There's some lemon-eucalyptus spray that works to some degree in my experience. It's not as potent as DEET and doesn't seem to last nearly as long, but if you want a mild "all-natural" option it might help. The other downside is half of /out/ will probably call you a faggot for using it.
There's also picaridin sprays, which is a newer chemical than DEET, and claimed to be just as effective. It's noted as being usable on synthetic fabrics that DEET would melt, so maybe it's less rough on skin too? I've no idea if it's any safer than DEET though, since it's much newer, there aren't a lot of long-term studies of the stuff.
