Can I just hunt without a license in Europe? I mean, nobodies going to find out, right?

I mean like balls deep inawoods, remote as fuck.

CBA doing 100 hours in a hunting club, just want to practice my bushcraft without all the red tape and cuck laws.

There is no tundra in Europe other than Russia and Norway.
I don't know about Russia, I guess nobody cares much, but you'll surely get caught by rangers in Norway.

Either way, your picture looks like a rapeseed field, and there are not many of those in Norway, and I doubt you are from there anyway.

Yep that's rapeseed famalam, used for oil and such.

I plan on going to Russia, but I live in central Europe atm.

We are just larping scenarios atm and learning about the forest. Edible and healing plants etc.

Our goal is to survive atleast a week in the wild, so we need to eventually start learning to hunt. Regulations to hunt in my country are very strict :(

You might be larping right now, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

At least here in the US, going through the red tape and obtaining a license isn't just to be a pain, the fees are used for conservation efforts, and ensuring that hunters don't just devastate every ecosystem. If you actually want to be a hunter, you're part of a community that manages its resources, not just selfishly taking what you want.

Go get the license, and do it the right way. Otherwise, you have no business being out doing this stuff.

In France a snail hunting license is a thing.
Snail season starts in August through to October.
You are not allowed to use firearms because it is considered non-sporting to do so.

I don't understand how it is related.

The snail hunting is traditionally made after the first summer rain, when the snail come out from under the rocks to eat grass.

A special dog is used to find snail, and traditionally you pick him up with your hand. They do not run fast.

But since maybe 50 years ago, the hunting became popular to do with a shotgun.

Many people prefer the shotgun of .410 size cartuge.
Inside with salt, instead of lead. A common belief is that shotgun makes the meat more tender.

Not sure if sarcasm. Anyways in my 'central europe' to possess a hunting firearm you need to have a hunters license first. So lets assume you get caught poaching with a rifle (that you have under sport shooting license):
Gun confiscated, banned for getting guns for 5 years, fine for 'damage to nature' (this starts at ~3k eu), get charged with discharging a firearm in public space, all equipment including vehicle seized.
If you do it with illegally held gun you get 3+ years in jail.
Have fun with your larp.

Depends on the location. It's illegal almost everywhere, but in some areas poaching is considered tradition. For example in southern germany, austria and northern italy, it is still common to openly show whether you're poaching by wearing a "Gamsbart" (a trophy taken from mountain goats which looks kinda like a paintbrush) on your hat.

What are you guys talking about? except for the UK, all countries in Europe permit possession of certain guns without any licenses.
In Austria, for example, you can buy any non-automatic, non-handgun as well as small caliber handguns without a license. In France and Germany, virtually all muzzeloaders. In Switzerland, any gun that was ever issued to the military.

Also, as long as you own the gun legally in your homeland, you can apply for an EU weapons pass for any kind of weapon.

Your larp is adorable. People that live next to woods go to them. Most of them are part of hunting clubs, they pay taxes for hunting licenses, they build feeding places and know where animals congregate, they know animal trails, they count animals every year or so, they can read tracks - both human and animal. They will spot your traps and put deer cams above. They have environmental services on speed dial and rat out fellow hunters who want to poach on the side regularity.
Bow? That's hunting from tree/tower territory aka being in same place for hours with shitloads of equipment. You think you gonna stealth your way up to a boar or deer as in a video game? You woun't. Even then what will you do with the kill? How will you transport it? How will you know its not chock-full of diseases?
Where i live you would last two weeks before racking up the price of a small car in fines.
