Personally I think almost every beehive for sale online is grossly overpriced, but understand that honey extraction has always been a main chore for apiarists, since you have to open the combs and spin out the honey in an extractor, which by itself could cost hundreds.
Basically it's ideal for people who want minimum effort but still get a good return. This isn't the box you'd buy 12 of to start a honey business. I could only see someone buying 1 or 2 at most.
