Let's talk filtration for a hot minute.
These things are supposed to get rid of practically every bacteria, but can't do shit for viruses. When hiking on popular trails, there's bound to be some idiot who shits in the water up stream, so a filter isn't going to help much. You're likely to pick up norovirus or some other garbage and end up having a really, really bad time.
With that in mind, beyond bacteria filtering... what's the most efficient way to also filter or purify for viruses, excluding the boiling method?
